War For Eos Season 3 has arrived! We hope you enjoy a good villain - this Season shines the spotlight on three new playable Heroes whose intentions are pure… evil! It’s all about world domination for these new Legendary Heroes hailing from the Niflheim Empire, and they are as powerful as they are ruthless.

Your Realm will reach new Seasons as it progresses in age. Each War For Eos Season’s primary focus will be new obtainable Heroes, inviting all kinds of new strategies in both PvE and PvP activities! You can also dive into an assortment of new Events associated with these new Heroes, providing the opportunity to earn Rewards that will help to unlock them. War For Eos Season 3 brings three new Legendary Heroes into play; Emperor Iedolas, Verstael, and Caligo! Season 3 also marks the beginning of a new Stronghold Siege Series - use these agents of chaos against your Guild’s enemies to seize victory.

New War For Eos Seasons will arrive one week after the end of every Stronghold Siege Series, infusing each Series with new strategies! Each Season announcement here in the Web Portal will include a table that details when existing Realms (at the time of this announcement) can expect that Season to arrive.

If you are in a newer Realm that isn’t on this table, keep in mind that you can expect a new War For Eos Season after each Stronghold Siege Series ends. You’ll also see an in-game Blog announcement whenever a new War For Eos Season arrives in your Realm.

New Heroes

Each War For Eos Season comes with new Heroes, and Season 3 brings us Emperor Iedolas, Verstael, and Caligo; each entry below will give you a quick glimpse at their background, Class/March Slot/Roles, an overview of their abilities, and where their Hero Tokens can be found!

Emperor Iedolas

World domination is close at hand for Niflheim's cunning and cutthroat emperor, with only the kingdom of Lucis remaining outside his grasp.   Rarity: Legendary Class: Attacker March Slot: Ranged Roles: Gunner, Summoner

In Party Encounters, Emperor Iedolas is a deceptive Attacker Hero who summons reinforcements for assistance using his Technique and Limit Break. He also inflicts Buff Immunity and Confusion with his attacks, and will sacrifice his summoned reinforcements to recover HP if needed!

In War Combat, Emperor Iedolas provides benefits to Ranged Troops and increases City Defending Troop Attack and Throne Troop Health.

Emperor Iedolas Tokens can be found in the following places:

• Daily Deals
• Champion of Eos Event Leaderboard
• Explorer of Eos Event
• Hero Specific Pack (this one time pack appears when you unlock Emperor Iedolas - grab it while you can!)

Verstael

Research Chief Verstael Besithia made a name for himself by almost single-handedly engineering a method to mass produce a Magitek infantry.   Rarity: Legendary Class: Support March Slot: Cavalry Roles: Saboteur, Arcanist

In Party Encounters, Verstael is a sadistic Support Hero that conducts experiments and spreads Starscourge to the nearest combatant (friend or foe). He heals all friendly inflicted combatants and damages all enemy inflicted combatants - once all combatants have Starscourge, he gains extra Technique Charge, allowing him to summon a Magitek Swordsman and grant stacks of Daemonic Strength much faster!

In War Combat, Verstael provides benefits to Cavalry Troops and increases City Defending Troop Health and Throne Troop Health.

How to Obtain Verstael

Verstael Tokens can be found in the following places:

• Laboratory of Madness Event
• Chaotic Wish Chests (found in Packs and in the Item Shop during Laboratory of Madness Event)
• Hero Specific Pack (this one time pack appears when you unlock Verstael - grab it while you can!)

Caligo

Conceited and crafty commander in the imperial army.   Rarity: Legendary Class: Tank March Slot: Infantry Roles: Knight, Paladin

In Party Encounters, Caligo is a cruel Tank Hero that removes Positive Status Effects for his own gain. His ability to Provoke enemy attention while gaining Defense Boost, stealing Positive Status Effects, and inflicting Slow make him a powerful frontline combatant that will soak up lots of damage! As the Party Leader, Caligo’s Limit Break allows him to fight from his MA-X Dux!

In War Combat, Caligo provides benefits to Infantry Troops and increases City Assault Troop Attack and Rally Troop Attack.

How to Obtain Caligo

Caligo Tokens can be found in the following places:

• Caligo's Choice Pack
• Hero Specific Pack (this one time pack appears when you unlock Caligo - grab it while you can!)

Additional War For Eos Season 3 Notes

• Aranea Tokens (instead of Luna) are now obtainable in rotating Minor Stronghold Unique Rewards, and King Noctis Tokens (instead of Aranea) are now obtainable in rotating Major Stronghold Unique Rewards; Verstael’s Laboratory of Madness Event will replace Ardyn’s Curse Event.

• Ravus Tokens are now obtainable in Premium Hero Chests; Emperor Iedolas Tokens have replaced Ravus Tokens in Daily Deals, the Champion of Eos Leaderboard, and the Explorer of Eos Event.
