Skills

Quick Shot (Basic): Ranged Skill. Prompto fires his gun, damaging his target. Provides 15% Ranged Troop HP to Marches.

• Level 2 Upgrade: +5% damage, and Ranged Troop HP is increased to 30%.

• Level 3 Upgrade: +10% damage, and Ranged Troop HP is increased to 50%.

Rapid Fire (Special): Ranged Skill, 5 second cooldown. Prompto fires three rapid shots at his target; each shot has a 15% to inflict Cursed for 4 seconds (Cursed is a Status effect that reduces Spirit - Spirit increases the chance of resisting a negative status effect). Provides 15% Ranged Troop HP to Marches.

• Level 2 Upgrade: +10% Curse chance, and Ranged Troop HP is increased to 30%.

• Level 3 Upgrade: +15% Curse chance, and Ranged Troop HP is increased to 50%.

Photographer's Eye (Special): Passive Skill. Nearby Party Members gain 10% increased Accuracy. Provides 15% Ranged Troop Attack to Marches.

• Level 2 Upgrade: +5% Party Accuracy, and Prompto’s Critical Hits have a 50% chance to inflict Compromised for 4 seconds (Compromised is a Status Effect that reduces Defense). Ranged Troop Attack is increased to 30%.

• Level 3 Upgrade: +5% Party Accuracy and 75% Compromised Chance. Ranged Troop Attack is increased to 50%.

Alea Bazooka (Technique): Ranged Technique. Prompto uses the Alea Bazooka to deal 165% damage and Burn all enemies within the blast radius for 8 seconds. Provides 15% Ranged Troop Attack to Marches.

• Level 2 Upgrade: +10% damage and Ranged Troop Attack is increased to 30%.

• Level 3 Upgrade: +15% damage and Ranged Troop Attack is increased to 50%.

Strategy and Usage

In Marches, Prompto provides benefits to Ranged Troops and increased Metal Gathering Speed. Prompto’s Ranged Troop benefits increase when you upgrade a Skill, and Metal Gathering Speed increases when you increase his Star Rank. Use him when you want your Ranged Troops to shine, or when you’re in need of additional Metal!

In Party Encounters, Prompto is a precise Ranged Attacker Hero that guns his foes down from afar. His high Accuracy and Damage make him lethal when properly protected - make sure to place him on your back line!

• Prompto’s Alea Bazooka is a powerful Technique that hits multiple enemies at once. The extra Burn damage works well with Noctis’ Engine Blade by increasing the entire Party’s Critical Chance against Burnt enemies. It can also be used in tandem with Ignis’ Mark Technique - Mark your opponents and then BLAST them for maximum damage with the Alea Bazooka!

• Prompto should always be on your back line. He’s most effective when he can stand in the back and use his ranged abilities.

• Photographer’s Eye is a great tool for weakening your opponents’ overall Defense - when upgraded, inflict Compromised on your enemies and watch your Party tear them apart!
