War For Eos is primarily a multiplayer game, so playing with friends and allies from around the world is both important and easily accomplished! Is there a specific person you’d like to join in battle? Then this guide is for you!

Let’s start with the basics:

Communities in Final Fantasy: War For Eos are separated into both Servers and Realms.

Servers represent hardline separations between large groups of players; each Server has a different content schedule, and there will never be any interaction between players from different Servers. Server placement is automatic, and dependent on the date a player joins the game.

Realms represent specific clusters of players within a Server; there will be multiple Realms per Server, and there will be frequent interactions between them. Players can talk to players from other Realms, they can battle in Realm vs. Realm competitions, and they can even join other Realms with the proper items.

When you first make an account, you’ll be automatically placed into a random Realm - however, with a New Empire Relocator, and a few extra steps, you can quickly join whichever Realm you’d like!

NOTE: The following information is only applicable to brand new accounts. Established accounts (older than five days) will need to utilize different relocation methods.

New Empire Relocator - What Is It?

The New Empire Relocator is a unique item granted to brand new accounts. This item allows a new player to relocate from their initial, randomly chosen Realm to a specific Realm of their choosing. This is particularly useful for players who have friends and allies in different Realms! The New Empire Relocator will be automatically granted to a new account, and it’s a one-time use item.

The in-game description of this item reads: “Relocates your city to a new realm of your choice. This item will expire after five days if not used and will be unusable after attaining citadel level higher than level 6. Requires repairing the Radar to use.”

How Do I Use It?

While every new account is gifted a single New Empire Relocator, it won’t be immediately usable or visible in the inventory. In order to utilize a Relocator, players will first need to repair the Radar, which also opens the in-game World Map. Once the Radar is repaired, players may use their Relocator to switch Realms.

Limitations

The New Empire Relocator will become unusable under the following conditions:

  • If the New Empire Relocator is not used within five days of account creation, it will expire; after expiration, it cannot be used, and will be removed from your inventory.

  • If a player reaches Citadel Level 7 before using their Relocator, the item will become unusable, and will be removed from the inventory.

  • The Relocator item is for new accounts only; creating a new character under the same account will not result in receiving an additional Relocator.

Switching Realms

If you don’t have any specific friends in mind, but still want to switch Realms, then you can follow the steps below:

  • Find the New Empire Relocator in your inventory, and select it; this will bring you to the Realm Map, which displays all the available Realms in your Server. You may also search for a specific Realm using the search function.

  • Select the Realm you’d like to join; in the following pop-up window, select “Join Realm.”

  • After selecting “Join Realm,” you’ll be shown the World Map of the new Realm you’d like to join - from here, select the specific relocation coordinates for your City.

  • After confirming the coordinates, your City will be relocated!

Important Notes:

  • Whenever you switch Realms - for any reason, and under any circumstances - you will be removed from your previous Guild. Pending Guild requests or invites from the old Realm will be automatically declined.

  • You cannot move into any Realm in which you’ve already created two characters.

Finding Friends

If you DO have a specific friend in mind, here’s how to join them:

  • Your chosen friend must have reached Citadel Level 5 and repaired the Radar; if these conditions are not met, they will not be available for this process.

  • Find and add your friend through the in-game chat function. Once they’ve been added, head into the chat and select their profile.

  • Once inside their profile, tap on their location coordinates; this will bring you to their location on the World Map. On the Map, select an area near their City.

  • After selecting your area, you’ll receive a dialogue pop-up asking you to confirm the location. Select “Yes,” and your City will be moved to that spot.

  • Congrats! You’ve now switched Realms, and are ready to join your friends in the battles to come!

Important Notes:

  • Whenever you switch Realms - for any reason, and under any circumstances - you will be removed from your previous Guild. Pending Guild requests or invites from the old Realm will be automatically declined.

  • You cannot move into any Realm in which you’ve already created two characters.
